Route overview
The Indus Placement Pass is an application intelligence and placement discovery platform designed for international candidates from India, Nepal, Bhutan, and existing Au Pairs in Germany who want to secure a Freiwilliges Soziales Jahr (FSJ), Bundesfreiwilligendienst (BFD), or Freiwilliges Ökologisches Jahr (FÖJ).
Rather than charging £2,000–£3,000 upfront for full-service relocation, the Placement Pass empowers candidates who have A2, B1, or B2 German to apply directly to accredited Träger and Einsatzstellen across all 16 German Federal States, with bilingual German templates, 24-hour contact replacement guarantees, and consular subsistence verification.
A voluntary service contract (Vereinbarung) under § 16d or § 19e AufenthG grants a legal residence title in Germany, monthly pocket money (€400–€550), free health insurance, and often free accommodation and meals, completely eliminating the need for an €11,904 blocked account at the German Embassy.
What we do on this route: Indus Emissary provides verified placement directories, recruiter contact intelligence, and visa guidance. Official voluntary service agreements are issued directly by accredited German Träger and host institutions (Einsatzstellen) in accordance with the German Youth Voluntary Services Act (JFDG) and Federal Volunteer Service Act (BFDG). Final visa decisions rest solely with the competent German Missions (VFS / Ausländerbehörde).
